Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CPXM2, or Carboxypeptidase X member 2, is a recently identified member of the carboxypeptidase family, which plays a significant role in various biological processes, including extracellular matrix remodeling, immune regulation, and tissue homeostasis. The research into CPXM2 has garnered interest due to its potential implications in several diseases, including cancer and fibrosis, where its dysregulation may contribute to disease progression and poor prognosis. Unlike other carboxypeptidases, CPXM2 is characterized by unique structural features that suggest it may have distinct substrate specificity and regulatory mechanisms. Furthermore, preliminary studies have indicated that CPXM2 could be a novel biomarker for certain types of cancers and a potential therapeutic target, as manipulating its activity may influence tumor growth and metastasis. As a result, the development of recombinant CPXM2 for research purposes is crucial for elucidating its biological functions and the underlying mechanisms of its involvement in disease. Enhanced understanding of CPXM2 can pave the way for innovative therapeutic interventions aimed at modulating its activity to improve patient outcomes in cancer and other related diseases. The ongoing exploration of CPXM2’s biological role, coupled with advancements in recombinant protein technologies, is expected to provide deeper insights into its specificity, enzymatic function, and potential as a drug target.
