Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CPSF6, or Cleavage and Polyadenylation Specificity Factor 6, is a crucial component of the cellular machinery involved in pre-mRNA processing, particularly in the cleavage and polyadenylation of messenger RNA. This protein plays a significant role in the regulation of gene expression by influencing mRNA stability, transport, and translation. Recent studies have demonstrated that CPSF6 is not only vital for normal cellular functions but is also exploited by various viruses, including HIV-1, to facilitate their replication within host cells. The interaction between CPSF6 and viral proteins enhances viral RNA stability and processing, revealing an important avenue for understanding viral pathogenesis and developing antiviral strategies. Furthermore, aberrations in CPSF6 expression have been linked to several malignancies, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Research into CPSF6 not only uncovers its fundamental biological roles but also emphasizes its potential as a therapeutic target, paving the way for innovative treatments against viral infections and cancer. By characterizing the structure and function of CPSF6 through recombinant protein studies, researchers aim to provide deeper insights into its mechanistic roles in both normal and pathological states, ultimately contributing to the fields of virology and oncology.
