Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC17A7, a member of the solute carrier family, encodes a sodium-dependent inorganic phosphate transporter predominantly expressed in the brain. It plays a critical role in neurotransmitter release and recycling, particularly the transport of glutamate, a key excitatory neurotransmitter involved in synaptic transmission and plasticity. Abnormalities in SLC17A7 expression have been linked to various neurological disorders, including schizophrenia, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative diseases, making it a valuable target for therapeutic intervention. The study of SLC17A7 recombinant protein is essential for understanding its structural and functional properties, as well as its interaction with other proteins and molecules in synaptic processes. Research on this protein can provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying its transport activity, facilitating the development of drugs aimed at modulating glutamate levels in the brain. Additionally, recombinant SLC17A7 can be used in high-throughput screening assays to identify potential compounds that may enhance or inhibit its function, thereby contributing to the discovery of novel treatments for neurological conditions. This research is paramount for unraveling the complexities of glutamatergic signaling and its implications for brain health and disease.
