Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CLVS2, a member of the Claudin family, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its potential role in cellular processes and its implications in various diseases, particularly in cancer and cardiovascular conditions. As a tight junction protein, CLVS2 is integral to maintaining the integrity of epithelial and endothelial barriers, regulating permeability, and facilitating intercellular communication. Research has shown that alterations in CLVS2 expression can correlate with tumor progression and metastasis, highlighting its role as a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Furthermore, its involvement in cardiac function suggests that CLVS2 may also play a crucial role in heart diseases. Given the critical functions attributed to CLVS2, the production and characterization of its recombinant protein have emerged as key areas of interest. By studying the structural and functional properties of CLVS2, researchers aim to elucidate its biochemical mechanisms and interactions within cellular contexts. Such investigations may pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting CLVS2-related pathways, offering insights into disease mechanisms and potential interventions. Overall, the study of recombinant CLVS2 not only enhances our understanding of tight junction biology but also holds promise for translational applications in disease management.
