Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OMP S1 is a recombinant protein derived from the outer membrane protein of specific bacterial strains, particularly those associated with pathogen resistance and virulence. Understanding the structure and function of OMP S1 is crucial due to its potential role in vaccine development and as a diagnostic marker. This protein exhibits immunogenic properties that can provoke an immune response, making it a candidate for inclusion in subunit vaccines. Additionally, studies suggest that OMP S1 may assist in understanding bacterial pathogenesis, providing insights into how these organisms evade host defenses. Research focusing on the expression, purification, and characterization of OMP S1 is vital for elucidating its biological implications and potential applications in clinical microbiology. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have enabled the efficient production of OMP S1, facilitating studies on its interaction with host immune systems. By dissecting its mechanisms of action, researchers aim to harness OMP S1 for therapeutic and preventive strategies against infectious diseases caused by pathogenic bacteria.
