Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CMTM4 (chemokine-like factor 4) is a member of the chemokine-like factor (CMTM) family, which comprises several proteins implicated in diverse biological processes, including cell signaling, immune responses, and tumorigenesis. The study of CMTM4 has garnered attention due to its potential role in cancer progression and metastasis. Previous research indicates that CMTM4 may modulate the behavior of cancer cells by affecting pathways related to cell proliferation, migration, and apoptosis. Additionally, CMTM4 is thought to interact with various receptors and signaling molecules, which can influence cellular responses to environmental stimuli. Given its expression in various tissues and potential involvement in diseases, including cancer, understanding the structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms of CMTM4 is essential for elucidating its role in health and disease. Researchers have focused on characterizing the recombinant protein of CMTM4 to further investigate its biological functions and therapeutic potential, making it a significant target for drug development and clinical applications. These studies aim to provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying CMTM4's function, which could lead to innovative strategies for diagnosing and treating malignancies associated with its dysregulation.
