Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CLCN7 is a member of the Chloride Intracellular Channel (CLIC) family and plays a crucial role in maintaining chloride ion homeostasis within cells. Mutations in the CLCN7 gene are associated with various bone and dental diseases, including osteopetrosis and dental enamel hypoplasia. As a consequence, research on CLCN7 recombinant protein has gained significance, particularly in understanding its physiological functions and disease mechanisms. The study of CLCN7 protein, especially its structural and functional properties, helps elucidate how mutations lead to impaired chloride transport and, subsequently, bone density alterations. Recombinant expression systems are employed to produce CLCN7 protein, allowing for detailed biophysical characterization and functional assays to explore its role in cellular processes. Investigating the interactions of CLCN7 with other cellular components further enhances our understanding of its function and potential as a therapeutic target. Consequently, this research not only provides insights into the molecular basis of related diseases but also informs strategies for developing novel treatments aimed at ameliorating the effects of CLCN7-related disorders.
