Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ENPEP (Enkephalinase, or neprilysin) is a key enzyme involved in the degradation of various neuropeptides, including enkephalins, which play crucial roles in pain modulation and stress response. The study of recombinant ENPEP proteins has gained significant attention due to their potential implications in neurobiology and therapeutic applications. Understanding the biochemical properties and functional dynamics of ENPEP can provide insights into its role in modulating neurotransmitter levels and neuropeptide signaling pathways. Given that dysregulation of ENPEP activity has been associated with various neurological disorders, such as chronic pain, depression, and neurodegenerative diseases, there is a growing interest in developing ENPEP inhibitors as potential therapeutic agents. Moreover, advances in genetic engineering techniques have enabled the production of recombinant ENPEP, facilitating detailed studies on its structure-function relationships and interactions with other biomolecules. By elucidating the mechanisms underlying ENPEP's activity, researchers aim to pave the way for innovative treatments targeting conditions linked to neuropeptide imbalances, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes in neurological health.
