Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD1d is a pivotal molecule involved in the presentation of lipid antigens to natural killer T (NKT) cells, which play a crucial role in immune response and regulation. The importance of CD1d in immunology has garnered significant attention due to its potential implications in various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases. Research on the recombinant protein of CD1d focuses on understanding its structure, function, and interaction with NKT cells to explore its therapeutic applications. By expressing CD1d as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to study its binding properties with different lipid antigens and assess its role in activating NKT cells. This research can lead to the development of novel vaccines and immunotherapies that harness the unique capabilities of NKT cells in targeting tumors or modulating immune responses. Moreover, elucidating the mechanisms underlying CD1d’s function may provide insights into the regulatory pathways that govern immune homeostasis and tolerance. The study of CD1d recombinants not only enhances our understanding of T cell-mediated immunity but also opens new avenues for innovative treatments targeting various pathological conditions through the manipulation of lipid antigen presentation.
