Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TEAD4 (TEA Domain Transcription Factor 4) is a member of the TEAD family of transcription factors, which play a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and tissue development. TEAD4 functions primarily by binding to enhancers and promoters of target genes, often in cooperation with co-activators like Yes-associated protein (YAP) and transcriptional co-activator with PDZ-binding motif (TAZ). Dysregulation of TEAD4 and its associated pathways has been implicated in several diseases, particularly cancer, where its interaction with YAP/TAZ promotes oncogenic signaling. As a result, understanding the structural and functional characteristics of TEAD4 through recombinant protein studies is essential for elucidating its role in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. The production of recombinant TEAD4 protein allows researchers to investigate its binding affinities, interactions with other proteins, and transcriptional activities in vitro. Such studies can facilitate the identification of potential therapeutic targets for cancer and other diseases associated with aberrant TEAD4 signaling. Overall, TEAD4 represents a critical node in developmental biology and pathology, making it a significant focus of ongoing research aimed at unraveling its regulatory networks and therapeutic potential.
