Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCT7, also known as chaperonin containing TCP1 subunit 7, is part of the chaperonin complex that plays a crucial role in the proper folding of newly synthesized proteins in the cytosol. Its function is vital for cellular homeostasis, as misfolded proteins can lead to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Research on CCT7 has garnered significant attention due to its involvement in the protein folding process, which is essential for maintaining the integrity of cellular structures and functions. Studies have shown that the activity of CCT7 can be influenced by cellular stress, altering its role in chaperoning protein substrates under pathological conditions. Additionally, CCT7 has been implicated in the regulation of specific signaling pathways and cellular responses, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying CCT7’s function could provide insights into its role in disease progression and pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing protein folding efficiency in affected cells. Current research efforts are focused on elucidating the detailed structure-function relationship of CCT7, its interaction with client proteins, and its regulatory mechanisms, which may ultimately contribute to advancements in the treatment of protein misfolding diseases.
