Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Dectin-1 is a crucial pattern recognition receptor that plays a significant role in the innate immune system by recognizing β-glucans, a component of fungal cell walls. The importance of Dectin-1 lies in its ability to enhance host defense against fungal infections and modulate inflammatory responses. Research has shown that Dectin-1 activates signaling pathways leading to the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and the activation of immune cells, such as macrophages and dendritic cells. Given the rising prevalence of fungal infections and the limited efficacy of conventional antifungal therapies, there is a growing interest in exploring Dectin-1 for therapeutic applications. Recombinant Dectin-1 proteins have been developed for various studies, allowing researchers to investigate its structural properties, functional mechanisms, and interactions with other immune components. This research aims to elucidate how Dectin-1 can be harnessed to improve immune responses against pathogens and could pave the way for novel treatments to enhance immune efficacy. Additionally, understanding the role of Dectin-1 in different disease contexts, including autoimmunity and chronic inflammation, provides potential insights for developing tailored immunotherapeutic strategies. The study of Dectin-1, especially through its recombinant forms, holds promise for advancing our knowledge of immune mechanisms and developing innovative approaches to combat infectious diseases.
