Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RIOK2 is a member of the RIO (RIObound) kinases, which are evolutionarily conserved proteins involved in various cellular processes, including ribosome biogenesis and cell cycle regulation. The importance of RIOK2 has been highlighted in numerous studies linking it to essential cellular functions and developmental processes. Abnormal expression or mutation of RIOK2 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, making it a significant focus of research. Its kinase activity is believed to influence the phosphorylation of substrates critical for ribosomal assembly and function. As a result, understanding the structural and functional attributes of RIOK2, particularly in terms of its biochemical properties and interactions, is crucial for elucidating its role in cell biology and disease mechanisms. Researchers are increasingly employing recombinant protein techniques to produce RIOK2 in order to investigate its enzymatic activity, binding interactions, and potential as a therapeutic target. This work is essential not only for advancing fundamental biological knowledge but also for paving the way for the development of novel strategies for disease intervention. Therefore, RIOK2 remains an important subject of study in molecular biology and biochemistry, with implications for understanding cellular dynamics and therapeutic development.
