Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TSPAN8, a member of the tetraspanin family, is implicated in various physiological and pathological processes, including cell proliferation, adhesion, and migration. Research on TSPAN8 has gained importance due to its association with cancer progression and metastasis, particularly in gastrointestinal cancers. Studies have shown that TSPAN8 is overexpressed in several cancer types, suggesting its potential role as a biomarker and therapeutic target. The protein interacts with various integrins and other cell surface receptors, influencing signaling pathways that regulate tumorigenesis and the tumor microenvironment. Additionally, TSPAN8's involvement in exosome biogenesis and release highlights its role in intercellular communication in the cancer milieu. Given these insights, recombinant TSPAN8 protein is being explored for its potential applications in developing targeted therapies and diagnostic tools, facilitating a deeper understanding of its molecular mechanisms and contributions to cancer biology. Researchers aim to elucidate TSPAN8's structure-function relationship and its effects on cellular behavior, which could pave the way for innovative strategies in cancer treatment and prevention.
