Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SDF2, or Stromal-Derived Factor 2, is a protein that has garnered interest in the field of molecular biology and protein research due to its potential roles in cellular processes. Initially identified in studies related to cellular stress response and apoptosis, SDF2 is believed to be involved in the modulation of various signaling pathways that govern cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation. Research has indicated that SDF2 may play a crucial role in the maintenance of mitochondrial function and cellular homeostasis, which are critical for overall cellular health. Furthermore, SDF2's association with various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, underscores the importance of understanding its functionality at a molecular level. The recombinant forms of SDF2 produced through genetic engineering techniques have opened new avenues for in-depth studies, allowing researchers to investigate its structure-function relationships, interactions with other proteins, and its effects on cellular behavior in controlled experimental settings. The ongoing research into SDF2 not only aims to elucidate its biological roles but also explores its potential as a therapeutic target or biomarker for various diseases, thus positioning SDF2 as a significant focus in the landscape of protein science and biomedical research.
