Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C21orf33, also known as chromosome 21 open reading frame 33, is a gene located on chromosome 21 that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential role in various biological processes and diseases. Initial studies suggested a link between C21orf33 and Down syndrome, as this chromosomal region is triplicated in individuals with this genetic condition. The protein encoded by C21orf33 is believed to be involved in crucial cellular functions, including protein synthesis and cellular signaling pathways. Current research aims to elucidate the functional characteristics of the C21orf33 recombinant protein, including its structural properties, interaction partners, and biological roles. By expressing and purifying the recombinant C21orf33 protein, scientists are investigating its involvement in neurological functions and its potential impacts on cellular metabolism. Furthermore, understanding the mechanisms by which C21orf33 operates may provide insights into the etiology of Down syndrome and other related disorders, guiding the development of therapeutic strategies. Recent advances in protein expression techniques, such as the use of bacterial and eukaryotic expression systems, have facilitated the production of high-quality recombinant proteins, allowing for detailed biochemical and biophysical characterization. Overall, the study of C21orf33 and its recombinant form holds promise for uncovering novel aspects of gene function and the molecular basis of diseases linked to chromosome 21.
