Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C21orf18, also known as "Chromosome 21 open reading frame 18," is a gene located on human chromosome 21 that has gained attention due to its potential implications in various biological processes and diseases. The study of C21orf18 recombinant protein has emerged from a growing interest in understanding the functional roles of proteins encoded by genes on chromosome 21, particularly in the context of Down syndrome. Researchers have hypothesized that C21orf18 might be involved in cellular mechanisms such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, given its expression in various tissues and developmental stages. Previous investigations have indicated that this protein may exert regulatory effects in pathways associated with neurodevelopment and immune response. To elucidate the molecular function of C21orf18, scientists have focused on producing recombinant forms of the protein, allowing for detailed biochemical analyses and functional assays. These studies have the potential to uncover the protein's role in health and disease, providing insights into its therapeutic applications or its contribution to the phenotypic traits observed in individuals with Down syndrome. Continued research into C21orf18 is critical not only for advancing our understanding of chromosome 21 biology but also for identifying novel targets for therapeutic intervention in related disorders.
