  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

RABEP2 (Rab ERP 2) is a member of the Rab family of small GTPases, which play crucial roles in regulating intracellular membrane trafficking and vesicle transport. This protein is primarily associated with the endosomal and recycling pathways, influencing cellular processes such as receptor recycling, endocytosis, and the maintenance of membrane organization. Research has indicated that RABEP2 is involved in various physiological functions, including neuronal signaling and synaptic transmission, which underscores its potential role in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders. Moreover, dysregulation of RABEP2 has been linked to certain diseases, highlighting its significance in both health and disease contexts. As a result, recombinant RABEP2 protein has gained attention in scientific research, facilitating studies that explore its functional mechanisms and interactions at a molecular level. Understanding the structure and function of RABEP2 could provide insights into its contributions to cellular homeostasis and disease pathology, making it an important target for therapeutic interventions. The production of recombinant RABEP2 allows researchers to probe its biochemical properties and to investigate its role in cellular dynamics, thereby advancing our knowledge of membrane trafficking processes and their implications for human health.
