Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPP2R2D, or Protein Phosphatase 2 Regulatory Subunit B, is a member of the PPP2R2 family, which plays a crucial role in regulating protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) activity. PP2A is a multi-functional serine/threonine phosphatase involved in diverse cellular processes, including cell growth, division, and apoptosis. The regulatory subunits like PPP2R2D modulate the specificity and activity of PP2A by targeting it to different substrates and cellular compartments. Research into PPP2R2D has gained significance due to its potential implications in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Alterations in the expression or function of PPP2R2D can disrupt normal PP2A signaling pathways, leading to tumorigenesis or neuronal dysfunction. Therefore, the recombinant expression of PPP2R2D is crucial for understanding its biochemical properties, interactions, and role in PP2A regulation. By generating and characterizing this recombinant protein, researchers can explore its structural features, binding dynamics, and functional impacts on PP2A activity, ultimately contributing to the development of targeted therapies aimed at restoring normal phosphatase function in diseases associated with its dysregulation.
