Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
POU3F4 is a member of the POU (POU-domain) transcription factor family, which plays a critical role in neural development and function. It is primarily expressed in the inner ear and brain, and mutations in the gene encoding POU3F4 (located on chromosome X) are linked to X-linked non-syndromic hearing loss and bilateral vestibular schwannomas. The study of POU3F4 recombinant protein has gained traction in recent years due to its implications in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying auditory pathways and neural development. Researchers are investigating the protein's structure, function, and interactions with other molecular partners through various recombinant expression systems. The elucidation of POU3F4’s role at the molecular level may provide insights into the etiology of auditory disorders and pave the way for potential therapeutic strategies. Additionally, the functional analysis of POU3F4 in cellular models could enhance our understanding of transcriptional regulation in neural tissues. Current efforts aim to develop POU3F4 as a potential biomarker for hearing loss and to explore its therapeutic potential in regenerative medicine, particularly concerning inner ear repair and cochlear implant efficacy. The insights gained from POU3F4 recombinant protein studies may ultimately contribute to the development of novel interventions aimed at preventing or mitigating hearing loss.
