Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDZK2 (PDZ domain-containing protein 2) is a member of the PDZ domain-containing protein family, which plays crucial roles in the organization of protein complexes and signal transduction pathways. As a scaffold protein, PDZK2 is involved in mediating interactions between various membrane proteins and their signaling partners, particularly in renal epithelial cells, where it has been linked to processes such as ion transport and cell signaling. Its relevance has drawn significant interest in the field of cell biology, particularly concerning kidney function and pathology. Given its potential implications in diseases like hypertension and renal disorders, researchers have focused on characterizing PDZK2 through recombinant protein studies. These studies allow for detailed investigations into its structure, function, and interactions with other proteins. Understanding PDZK2's role may offer insights into novel therapeutic targets, leading to advancements in treating related diseases. The production of recombinant PDZK2 enables a thorough exploration of its biochemical properties, interaction dynamics, and functional assays, thereby contributing to a broader understanding of its biological significance and potential clinical applications.
