Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ATAD2 (ATPase family AAA domain-containing protein 2) is a member of the ATPase family known for its involvement in various cellular processes, including DNA repair, transcription regulation, and chromatin remodeling. Research has highlighted its role in cancer biology, where ATAD2 is often upregulated in multiple tumor types, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of ATAD2 provides an opportunity to study its structure-function relationships and the molecular mechanisms underlying its involvement in oncogenesis. Through the production of recombinant ATAD2 protein, researchers can explore its interactions with other proteins, analyze its ATPase activity, and determine its role in chromatin dynamics. This work is particularly relevant for developing targeted therapies against cancer, as understanding how ATAD2 contributes to tumor progression may reveal new strategies for intervention. Investigating the properties of recombinant ATAD2 can also facilitate the design of inhibitors that might block its function, offering a promising avenue for cancer treatment. Ultimately, the study of ATAD2 and its recombinant protein is a vital piece in the puzzle of cancer biology and therapeutic development.
