Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
P2RX4, a member of the P2X receptor family, is an ionotropic receptor activated by extracellular ATP and plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including neurotransmission, inflammation, and immune responses. The interest in recombinant P2RX4 protein stems from its significance in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying ATP-mediated signaling pathways. Dysregulation of P2RX4 has been implicated in several pathophysiological conditions, such as neuropathic pain, depression, and respiratory illnesses. As a result, studying P2RX4 can provide insights into disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. Researchers aim to express and purify the recombinant P2RX4 protein for functional analysis, which can involve electrophysiological studies, binding assays, and structural characterization. These studies are essential for elucidating the receptor's role in normal and pathological states and offer the potential for drug development targeting P2RX4. The recombinant protein serves as a valuable tool for further exploration of ATP's role in cellular communication and its implications for health and disease.
