Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCTK1, or PCTAIRE kinase 1, is a member of the cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) family, which plays a crucial role in the regulation of the cell cycle and various cellular processes. The study of PCTK1 is significant due to its involvement in cellular proliferation and differentiation, particularly in the context of human cancers. Elevated PCTK1 expression has been linked to tumor progression, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and a target for therapeutic intervention. Research has indicated that PCTK1 can interact with various cellular proteins and signaling pathways, further highlighting its importance in cell growth and development. Additionally, the characterization of PCTK1 can provide insights into its unique regulatory mechanisms compared to other CDKs, which may lead to the discovery of novel drug targets. Given the rising interest in precision medicine, understanding the role of PCTK1 in cancer biology could pave the way for tailored therapeutic approaches that specifically inhibit this kinase in malignancies where it is overexpressed or aberrantly activated. Overall, the exploration of PCTK1 recombinant proteins is essential for elucidating its biochemical properties, functionality, and potential as a therapeutic target in oncology.
