Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UBE2M, a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family, plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which regulates protein degradation, cellular signaling, and various cellular processes. Research has highlighted its involvement in the post-translational modification of proteins through ubiquitination, affecting key biological pathways associated with cell cycle regulation, DNA repair, and response to stress. Dysregulation of UBE2M has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Recent studies have focused on characterizing the catalytic mechanisms, substrate specificity, and interaction networks of UBE2M to better understand its biological functions and implications in disease. The production of recombinant UBE2M protein is critical for these investigations, as it allows researchers to explore its enzymatic activity, structural properties, and interactions with E3 ligases and substrates. This foundational knowledge could lead to the development of novel strategies for modulating its activity in disease contexts, opening avenues for targeted therapies that exploit the ubiquitin-proteasome system for improved treatment outcomes.
