Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCSK7 (proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 7) is a member of the proprotein convertase family, which plays a critical role in the post-translational processing of various precursor proteins, including those involved in cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, and cancer. Notably, PCSK7 is implicated in the activation of proproteins related to lipid metabolism and insulin signaling. Research has highlighted its significance in the cleavage and activation of specific substrates, such as prohormones and neuropeptides, influencing physiological and pathological processes. The recombinant production of PCSK7 protein serves as a vital tool for investigating its enzymatic mechanisms and biological functions. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, researchers can produce large quantities of active PCSK7 for biochemical assays, structural studies, and developing potential therapeutic interventions. Understanding the structure-function relationships of PCSK7 is essential for elucidating its role in disease progression and for exploring its potential as a biomarker or drug target. Therefore, ongoing studies on PCSK7 recombinant protein contribute significantly to the knowledge of its involvement in various diseases and pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies.
