Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UBE2K, a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family, plays a crucial role in post-translational modifications by catalyzing the attachment of ubiquitin molecules to target proteins, a process essential for various cellular functions, including protein degradation, cell cycle regulation, and DNA repair. Recent studies have highlighted its significance in neurodegenerative diseases and cancer, as dysregulation of ubiquitin-mediated signaling pathways can lead to abnormal protein accumulation and cellular dysfunction. Research on UBE2K has gained momentum due to its potential as a therapeutic target; inhibiting its activity could restore normal cellular processes in diseases characterized by protein misfolding or impairment of degradation pathways. Consequently, the characterization and production of recombinant UBE2K proteins have become a focal point, enabling scientists to delve deeper into its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interaction with E3 ligases. Such investigations are vital for understanding the mechanistic underpinnings of diseases and developing novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating UBE2K function for improved treatment outcomes.
