Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCDHGB4 (Protocadherin Gamma Subfamily B 4) is a member of the protocadherin family, which plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and communication in the central nervous system. These proteins are essential for establishing and maintaining neuronal circuits and contribute to the complexity of neural networks. The PCDHGB4 gene is expressed in the brain and has been implicated in various neurodevelopmental processes and disorders. Research into PCDHGB4 recombinant proteins has gained traction due to their potential applications in understanding synaptic function and plasticity. Abnormalities in protocadherins have been associated with neuropsychiatric conditions such as autism and schizophrenia, highlighting the importance of studying this protein in detail. The generation of recombinant PCDHGB4 proteins allows scientists to investigate their structural properties, interactions with other proteins, and functional roles in cell signaling. Furthermore, understanding the mechanisms by which PCDHGB4 contributes to neuronal connectivity could provide insights into therapeutic targets for conditions resulting from synaptic dysregulation. Overall, the study of PCDHGB4 recombinant proteins is essential to elucidate the complexities of neuronal communication and its impact on brain health.
