Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ORAI2 is a member of the Orai family of calcium release-activated calcium (CRAC) channels, which play a crucial role in cellular calcium signaling. Unlike its more studied counterpart ORAI1, ORAI2's function and physiological relevance have only recently begun to be explored. Research suggests that ORAI2 may contribute to various cellular processes, including immune responses, muscle contraction, and neuronal signaling. Abnormalities in calcium signaling are implicated in various diseases, such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions. Therefore, understanding the structure and function of ORAI2 is essential for elucidating its role in these diseases. Moreover, the potential of ORAI2 as a therapeutic target underscores the importance of generating recombinant ORAI2 proteins for further research. By producing and characterizing ORAI2, scientists aim to uncover its functional mechanisms, regulatory pathways, and interactions with other cellular components. This knowledge could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies and enhance our understanding of calcium dynamics within cells. Overall, the study of ORAI2 remains a promising avenue for advancing our comprehension of calcium signaling and its implications in health and disease.
