Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IARS2, or mitochondrial isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase 2, is an essential enzyme involved in the mitochondrial protein synthesis pathway. It plays a crucial role in charging isoleucine to its cognate tRNA, thus facilitating accurate translation of mitochondrial mRNA into functional proteins. Mutations in the IARS2 gene have been associated with a variety of mitochondrial disorders, including encephalopathy, ataxia, and myopathy, highlighting its significance in human health. Research into the recombinant expression of IARS2 aims to elucidate its structure and function, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these diseases. By producing IARS2 as a recombinant protein in a controlled laboratory setting, scientists can study its enzymatic activity, interaction with tRNA, and the effects of disease-associated mutations. This knowledge can lead to the development of targeted therapeutics for mitochondrial diseases, enhancing our understanding of mitochondrial biology and its impact on cellular function. Additionally, studying the structural aspects of IARS2 can contribute to the broader field of tRNA synthetases, as these enzymes are pivotal in the fidelity of protein synthesis across all domains of life. Overall, the research on IARS2 recombinant protein represents a key step in understanding the complexities of mitochondrial dysfunction and the potential for novel therapeutic approaches.
