稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The OR5I1 protein, a member of the olfactory receptor gene family, has garnered attention due to its potential roles in sensory perception and signaling pathways. This receptor is primarily expressed in the human olfactory epithelium, where it is involved in the detection of specific odorants, contributing to the complex process of odor recognition. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of olfactory receptors in non-olfactory tissues, suggesting that OR5I1 may also play roles in physiological processes beyond the traditional scope of olfaction. Furthermore, the characterizations of OR5I1's structure and function can provide insights into its interaction with various ligands, potentially aiding in the development of therapies targeting sensory disorders or diseases linked to olfactory dysfunction. As a recombinant protein, OR5I1 can be produced to facilitate these studies, allowing researchers to explore its biological functions and mechanisms in detail. Understanding the role of OR5I1 in human health and disease could pave the way for novel approaches in treating olfactory-related conditions and contribute to the broader field of sensory biology. Overall, the research surrounding OR5I1 is vital for elucidating the complexities of olfactory receptor functioning and its impact on both sensory perception and broader physiological roles.
