稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OR5H1, a member of the olfactory receptor family, is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a crucial role in the detection of volatile compounds. Research indicates that OR5H1 is involved in the olfactory system's capacity to perceive diverse smells, which significantly impacts behavior, emotion, and memory. Studies have shown that variations in the OR5H1 gene can influence olfactory sensitivity and preference in humans, linking its functionality to individual differences in smell perception. Given its significance, the recombinant expression of OR5H1 protein has become a focal point for investigating its structure-function relationships. By expressing OR5H1 in heterologous systems, researchers aim to elucidate its signaling pathways and ligand interactions, contributing to a deeper understanding of olfactory mechanisms. Additionally, the recombinant protein could serve as a valuable tool for screening potential odorants, which has implications in fields such as fragrance and flavor industries. Understanding OR5H1's role within the olfactory landscape may also provide insights into broader sensory processing and potential therapeutic targets for olfactory dysfunctions. As such, studying the OR5H1 recombinant protein not only advances our knowledge of olfactory biology but also opens doors to innovative applications in sensory science.
