稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The FUT2 gene encodes the enzyme fucosyltransferase 2, which is pivotal in synthesizing the H antigen, a precursor for the ABO blood group system and a decisive factor in determining an individual's secretor status. Individuals can be either secretors or non-secretors based on the presence of functional FUT2 alleles. Secretors secrete blood group antigens into bodily fluids, influencing susceptibility to various infections and diseases, as certain pathogens exploit these antigens for adherence. Research on FUT2 has gained momentum due to its implications in human health, particularly concerning gastrointestinal infections, such as norovirus, and its potential role in modulating the gut microbiome. Variants of the FUT2 gene have been associated with differing risks for diseases like Crohn's disease and other autoimmune conditions. Understanding the functional dynamics of FUT2 and its polymorphisms not only enriches our grasp of genetic determinants of health but also opens avenues for personalized medicine and therapeutic interventions. Thus, the study of FUT2 recombinant proteins serves as a crucial area of investigation in both basic and translational research, aiming to uncover the intricacies of fucosylation and its far-reaching consequences on human health.
