Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GRIN3B, a member of the glutamate receptor ion channel family, plays a crucial role in synaptic transmission and plasticity in the central nervous system. Mutations and dysregulations in GRIN3B have been implicated in various neurological disorders, including schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders, highlighting the importance of this protein in neurodevelopment. Understanding GRIN3B function and its mechanisms is essential for developing potential therapeutic strategies. The production of recombinant GRIN3B protein allows for in-depth study of its structure, function, and interaction with other proteins, facilitating the exploration of its role in neuronal signaling pathways. By using techniques such as molecular cloning and protein expression systems, researchers can generate high-purity GRIN3B for biochemical assays, electrophysiological studies, and structural analyses. This research not only provides insights into the fundamental biology of glutamate receptors but also contributes to the broader understanding of synaptic dysfunction in neuropsychiatric conditions, paving the way for innovative treatments targeting GRIN3B-related pathways.
