稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OR51G2 is a member of the olfactory receptor (OR) gene family, primarily recognized for its involvement in the human sense of smell. Recent studies have suggested that OR51G2 may have roles beyond olfaction, including potential implications in various physiological and pathological processes. Given its expression in non-olfactory tissues such as the prostate, research has focused on its involvement in tumor biology and potential links to prostate cancer. The ability to produce recombinant OR51G2 protein is crucial for advancing our understanding of its structure, function, and potential therapeutic applications. By generating this protein in a laboratory setting, researchers can conduct detailed functional assays, analyze binding interactions with potential ligands, and explore the receptor's signaling pathways. Further investigation of OR51G2 may uncover significant insights into its role in human health and disease, leading to novel diagnostic or therapeutic strategies. Overall, the study of OR51G2 recombinant protein is a promising area of research that could bridge the gap between olfactory biology and broader medical applications.
