Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RTL1 (Retrotransposon-like 1) is an essential gene that plays a critical role in the regulation of placental development and function. Research into RTL1 has gained momentum due to its association with various reproductive and developmental disorders, particularly those affecting placentation and fetal growth. The RTL1 gene is believed to encode an imprinted protein that is expressed preferentially from the paternal allele, suggesting a significant role in gene dosage effects during embryo development. Given its involvement in tumorigenesis and its expression patterns in certain cancers, RTL1 is also being studied for its potential implications in oncology. Advances in molecular biology techniques have enabled researchers to explore the functional properties of RTL1, including its regulatory mechanisms and interactions with other proteins, which might shed light on its contributions to cell proliferation and differentiation. Furthermore, the study of RTL1 is crucial to understanding epigenetic regulation in mammals, particularly how imprinted genes influence developmental pathways. Overall, RTL1 represents a fascinating subject within developmental biology and genetics, with potential applications in therapeutic strategies targeting reproductive health and cancer.
