Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of ADRA2A (alpha-2A adrenergic receptor) recombinant proteins has gained significance in the context of pharmacology and neurobiology due to their pivotal role in regulating neurotransmitter release and influencing various physiological processes. ADRA2A is primarily involved in modulating sympathetic nervous system activity, affecting processes such as blood pressure regulation, mood, and cognition. Research on this receptor is crucial for understanding the mechanisms underlying various disorders, including hypertension, anxiety, and schizophrenia. Recombinant proteins of ADRA2A enable scientists to investigate the receptor's structure-function relationships, explore ligand interactions, and develop potential therapeutic agents targeting this receptor. The ability to produce ADRA2A as a recombinant protein facilitates high-throughput screening of drug candidates, aiding in the discovery of novel treatments. Moreover, insights gained from studying ADRA2A can inform strategies to mitigate side effects associated with adrenergic drugs. As the field of biopharmaceuticals continues to expand, the engineering and characterization of ADRA2A recombinant proteins not only enhance our understanding of adrenergic signaling pathways but also pave the way for innovative therapeutic approaches in treating related diseases.
