  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

NUDCD1, or nucleolar and coiled-body phosphoprotein 1, is a multifunctional protein that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including ribosome biogenesis, cell proliferation, and stress response. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in the regulation of gene expression and cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the context of cancer and other diseases. The reorganization and function of nucleoli, where NUDCD1 is predominantly localized, are crucial for efficient ribosome production and cellular homeostasis. Abnormal expression or dysfunction of NUDCD1 has been associated with various malignancies, suggesting that it may serve as a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Given its pivotal role in cell growth and stress response, researchers are increasingly focusing on the biochemical pathways mediated by NUDCD1, exploring its interactions with other proteins and its post-translational modifications. The recombinant expression of NUDCD1 offers a valuable tool for elucidating its structure-function relationship, enabling in-depth investigations into its roles in cellular physiology and pathophysiology. Understanding the mechanisms underlying NUDCD1's activity could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting diseases linked to its dysregulation.
