稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RGS5 (Regulator of G protein Signaling 5) is a member of the RGS protein family that plays a crucial role in modulating G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling pathways. Research has shown that RGS5 is significantly expressed in various tissues, including vascular endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells, where it is implicated in regulating blood pressure and vascular tone. Notably, RGS5 has been linked to the pathology of several diseases, including hypertension, heart failure, and certain types of cancer, where its expression can be altered. The understanding of RGS5’s function is essential for developing potential therapeutic strategies targeting GPCR signaling in these conditions. Recent studies have focused on the recombination and production of RGS5 proteins, enabling detailed investigations into their structural and functional properties. Recombinant RGS5 proteins are invaluable for biochemical assays and structural biology studies, allowing researchers to dissect the molecular mechanisms by which RGS5 modulates GPCR activity. Furthermore, understanding how RGS5 interacts with different GPCRs can offer insights into its role in disease mechanisms and could lead to innovative approaches for drug development targeting these signaling pathways. The ongoing research into RGS5 not only enhances our knowledge of GPCR signaling regulation but also contributes to the broader field of drug discovery aimed at treating diseases associated with dysregulated G protein signaling.
