  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CASC1 (Cancer Susceptibility 1) is a protein encoded by the CASC1 gene, which has garnered attention in cancer research due to its potential role in tumorigenesis and progression. Studies have indicated that CASC1 may function as a regulator of gene expression by modulating various cellular processes, including proliferation, apoptosis, and metastasis. The protein has been shown to interact with multiple signaling pathways, suggesting its involvement in the intricate network of cancer biology. Elevated levels of CASC1 have been associated with poor prognosis in several cancer types, including breast and colorectal cancers, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for early detection and therapeutic targeting. Additionally, research into CASC1's molecular mechanisms has revealed its influence on epigenetic modifications and RNA processing, further underscoring its significance in cancer biology. Understanding the functional properties of CASC1 through studies involving recombinant protein expression and characterization can provide insights into its role in malignancies, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at disrupting its oncogenic activities. As interest in the protein grows, ongoing research aims to elucidate its specific functions and interactions, ultimately contributing to the development of targeted interventions in cancer treatment.
