Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CHERP (Calcium Homeostasis Endoplasmic Reticulum Protein) is a critical protein involved in calcium signaling and homeostasis within the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Research into CHERP began as scientists sought to unravel the complexities of calcium storage and release mechanisms in cellular processes. Calcium ions play a vital role in various physiological functions, including muscle contraction, neurotransmitter release, and cell proliferation. Disruptions in calcium homeostasis can lead to a range of diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. CHERP is believed to facilitate the transport of calcium ions in and out of the ER, influencing cellular signaling pathways and overall cellular health. Recent studies have highlighted the role of CHERP in modulating ER stress responses and apoptosis, suggesting that it may serve as a potential therapeutic target for diseases associated with calcium dysregulation. The recombinant production of CHERP enables researchers to further investigate its structure-function relationships and interactions with other cellular components, thereby providing insights into its functional roles and potential implications in disease mechanisms. Understanding CHERP's biological significance and the pathways it influences could offer novel strategies for treating conditions linked to abnormal calcium signaling.
