Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRα) is a critical receptor tyrosine kinase involved in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, survival, and migration. It plays a significant role in embryonic development, tissue repair, and the pathology of several diseases, particularly in cancers and fibrotic disorders. The PDGFRα signaling pathway is often dysregulated in various tumor types, contributing to tumor growth, metastasis, and resistance to therapies. As a result, understanding PDGFRα function and its downstream signaling mechanisms has become a major focus in cancer biology and therapeutic development. Research on PDGFRα recombinant proteins aims to create models for studying its structure, function, and interactions with ligands and other signaling molecules. These studies facilitate the identification of potential therapeutic targets and the development of PDGFRα antagonists or inhibitors that can be employed in treating related diseases. Furthermore, PDGFRα recombinant proteins hold promise for advancing tissue engineering and regenerative medicine by enhancing the understanding of cellular signaling in stem cell biology and tissue regeneration. Overall, the exploration of PDGFRα provides vital insights into its role in health and disease, fueling the development of novel therapeutic strategies for managing conditions associated with aberrant PDGFRα signaling.
