Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IFNε (Interferon epsilon) is a member of the interferon family, primarily recognized for its role in the modulation of immune responses and its potential involvement in various diseases, including viral infections and autoimmune disorders. Unlike other interferons that are primarily produced in response to viral stimuli, IFNε is expressed in epithelial tissues, particularly in the female reproductive tract, suggesting a unique role in mucosal immunity. Research on IFNε recombinant protein has gained traction due to its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in enhancing antiviral responses and regulating immune functions. Recent studies indicate that IFNε may play a critical role in maintaining homeostasis in the mucosal barrier and has implications for reproductive health. Furthermore, as a relatively lesser-studied interferon, understanding the mechanisms of IFNε action and its pathways could open new avenues for targeted therapies in conditions where traditional interferons have shown limited efficacy. The production and characterization of IFNε recombinant proteins are essential steps toward unraveling its biological functions and therapeutic potential, making it a promising candidate for further investigation in immunology and virology research.
