Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LRRC8E (Leucine-Rich Repeat Containing 8 Member E) is a member of the LRRC8 family, which encodes subunits of volume-regulated anion channels (VRACs). These channels play a crucial role in cellular responses to osmotic stress and are involved in various physiological processes, including cell volume regulation, apoptosis, and ion homeostasis. Research has shown that LRRC8E specifically contributes to the channel's functional properties, particularly in the modulation of anion conductance and permeability. The relevance of LRRC8E extends beyond basic physiology; it has also been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, where dysregulation of ion channels may affect cell survival and proliferation. Additionally, understanding the molecular mechanisms by which LRRC8E operates can shed light on its potential as a therapeutic target. Given the rising interest in elucidating the roles of ion channels in health and disease, studies focusing on LRRC8E and its interactions with other protein partners are crucial for advancing our knowledge and developing novel interventions that harness the channel's biological functions. Overall, LRRC8E represents a significant focus within the broader context of ion channel research, with promising implications for both fundamental biology and clinical applications.
