Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KRT76, or Keratin 76, is a member of the keratin family of proteins, which are integral components of the epithelial cytoskeleton. It is primarily expressed in the outer layer of the skin and plays a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity and barrier function of epithelial tissues. Research on KRT76 has gained significance due to its potential implications in various dermatological conditions, such as skin disorders and certain types of hair loss. Abnormal expression or mutations in keratin genes can lead to a variety of skin diseases, highlighting the importance of understanding their biological functions. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant production of KRT76 to investigate its structural properties and functional role in cellular processes. Utilizing advanced biotechnological methods, researchers aim to characterize the protein's interactions within the keratinocyte environment, providing insights into its contribution to skin health and disease. This research also explores the possibility of KRT76 as a biomarker for skin pathologies, as well as its potential in therapeutic applications, such as developing treatments for keratin-related disorders. The ongoing studies on KRT76 are expected to enhance our understanding of keratin functions and pave the way for innovative approaches to managing skin-related conditions.
