Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPARγ coactivator 1α (PGC-1α) is a key regulator of energy metabolism, playing a crucial role in mitochondrial biogenesis, oxidative metabolism, and the adaptation of cells to environmental changes. As a transcriptional coactivator, PGC-1α interacts with various nuclear receptors, including peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs), to modulate gene expression in response to nutrients and energy demands. Dysregulation of PGC-1α has been implicated in several metabolic disorders, including obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions. Researchers have focused on the recombinant expression of PGC-1α to investigate its functional properties, post-translational modifications, and interactions with other proteins. Recombinant PGC-1α can be produced using various expression systems, allowing for the study of its role in cellular respiration and metabolism. Advances in understanding PGC-1α's pathways may pave the way for new strategies to combat metabolic diseases, enhance exercise performance, and improve overall metabolic health. As a result, studying recombinant PGC-1α has significant implications for both basic research and clinical applications, emphasizing the importance of this coactivator in the regulation of metabolic processes.
