Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KBTBD8 is a member of the Kelch repeat and BTB (Bric-à-brac, Tramtrack, and Broad-complex) domain-containing protein family, which plays crucial roles in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, protein degradation, and cytoskeleton organization. Recent studies have highlighted KBTBD8's involvement in the regulation of the ubiquitin-proteasome system, a key pathway for protein degradation and quality control within cells. Dysregulation of this pathway is implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Researchers aim to explore the functional mechanisms of KBTBD8 by creating recombinant protein forms that can be utilized in biochemical assays to elucidate its interactions with substrate proteins and components of the ubiquitin pathway. Understanding KBTBD8’s structure and function may provide insights into its role in cellular homeostasis and its potential as a therapeutic target. Given its emerging significance, further investigation into KBTBD8 may reveal novel therapeutic strategies for diseases related to its dysregulation, emphasizing the need for detailed structural and functional characterizations of this protein.
