Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HIST1H2BK is a gene that encodes a member of the histone H2B family, which plays a crucial role in the structuring of chromatin and the regulation of gene expression. The histone proteins, including HIST1H2BK, are fundamental to the compaction and organization of DNA within the nucleus, forming nucleosomes that influence accessibility for transcription and other DNA-related processes. Research on HIST1H2BK has gained significance due to its potential involvement in various biological processes, including DNA repair, replication, and epigenetic regulation. Abnormalities in histone modifications have been linked to several diseases, including cancer, where histone dysregulation can lead to altered gene expression patterns. As a member of the histone family, HIST1H2BK undergoes various post-translational modifications that can affect its function and interactions with other proteins. Recent studies have focused on understanding the precise role of HIST1H2BK in chromatin dynamics and its implications in pathological conditions. Moreover, the recombinant production of HIST1H2BK protein allows for in-depth biochemical and structural studies, providing insights into its function and the overall regulation of gene expression in eukaryotic cells. Understanding the mechanisms involving HIST1H2BK may lead to novel therapeutic strategies for treating diseases linked to histone modification abnormalities, making it a critical area of study in molecular biology and medicine.
