Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GIMAP6 (GTPase of immunity-associated protein 6) is a member of the GIMAP family of GTPases, which are involved in various immune responses and cellular functions. Research has shown that GIMAP6 plays a significant role in lymphocyte development and apoptosis, particularly in T cells. Its expression is notably elevated in immune tissues, indicating its potential involvement in immune regulation. Dysregulation of GIMAP6 has been linked to autoimmune diseases and lymphoid malignancies, which raises interest in understanding its mechanistic roles further. Studies have utilized recombinant GIMAP6 proteins to investigate their biochemical properties, signaling pathways, and interactions with other proteins. By producing and characterizing GIMAP6 in its recombinant form, researchers aim to elucidate its structure-function relationship and how it contributes to the immune system’s integrity. This knowledge could pave the way for novel therapeutic approaches targeting GIMAP6 in immune-related conditions. The ongoing investigation of GIMAP6 signifies its importance in immunology and its potential implications for developing targeted therapies in the context of autoimmune disorders and cancer.
