  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The study of HGS (Hepatocyte Growth Factor-regulated Tyrosine Kinase Substrate) recombinant proteins has gained substantial attention due to their vital role in cellular processes such as endocytosis, intracellular trafficking, and regulation of receptor signaling pathways. HGS, an adaptin-like protein, is primarily associated with the sorting of ubiquitinated proteins for degradation via the multivesicular body (MVB) pathway, linking it directly to crucial mechanisms in cellular homeostasis. Dysregulation of HGS has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, where it may influence tumor progression and metastasis. The ability to produce HGS as a recombinant protein allows researchers to investigate its structural and functional attributes in detail, facilitating studies on its interactions with other cellular components and elucidating its role in health and disease. Furthermore, recombinant HGS can be utilized in therapeutic contexts and drug development, particularly in strategies aiming to modulate its activity to restore normal cellular function or inhibit tumorigenic processes. Given the increasing recognition of the importance of post-translational modifications and protein-protein interactions in cellular signaling, HGS continues to be a focal point of research in molecular biology and therapeutic innovation.
